Prior to the founding of the Business Intelligence Network with Shawn Rogers, he was cofounder, publisher and editorial director of a business intelligence publication. Ron has a wealth of expertise in business intelligence, business management and marketing.

Shawn Rogers - Cofounder & Editorial Director
Shawn has more than 19 years of hands-on IT experience with a focus on Internet-enabled technology. Prior to the founding of the Business Intelligence Network with Ron Powell, he was a partner at a business intelligence publication. His wide knowledge of both IT and business management enables him to provide extensive industry insight for the Network.

Jean Schauer - Editor in Chief
Jean has more than twelve years of editorial experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, data integration and corporate performance management. Prior to joining the Business Intelligence Network, she held the position of editor in chief of a business intelligence publication where she worked closely with the industry experts who contributed articles for publication.

Mary Jo Nott - Executive Editor
Mary Jo has more than ten years of business intelligence and data warehousing experience in both print and online media, and she has developed strong relationships with writers and other key members of the business intelligence community. Barry has worked in the IT industry for more than 25 years, mainly as a Distinguished Engineer for IBM in Dublin, Ireland. He is now founder and principal of 9sight Consulting, specializing in the human, organizational and IT implications and design of deep business insight solutions. Colin White is the Founder of BI Research. Dan Power
Daniel J. "Dan" Power is a Professor of Information Systems and Management at the College of Business Administration at the University of Northern Iowa. He is also the editor of DSSResources.com, the Web-based knowledge repository about computerized systems that support decision making; the editor of PlanningSkills.com; and the editor of DSS News, a bi-weekly e-newsletter. Dr. Power's research interests include the design and development of decision support systems and how these systems impact individual and organizational decision behavior.

Malcolm Chisholm

John Hobson - Retail
John is Managing Director of The Planning Factory Ltd. and has worked on business intelligence and planning systems throughout Europe and Asia. His 25-year career includes positions with retailers House of Fraser, Tesco and Jaeger where he was Retail Operations Controller. He has also worked as a senior consultant specialising in retail planning systems design and implementation for Kurt Salmon Associates. Before setting up The Planning Factory Ltd. in 1996, he worked as Decision Support Systems Product Manager for Pennine Retail.

Richard Brayshaw - Insurance
Richard is an analyst and team leader on a business intelligence project at a leading insurance company, operating in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market in the City of London.
